![]() Normalizing this unexpected behavior as well as allowing you to create a custom template based on your own style and preferences is currently at the top of our development list. It's got a lot to do with the fact that Office Timeline is a PowerPoint add-in, not a stand-alone app. We also know that this is frustrating and that there are workarounds that our users do to offset it but you are right, it's not expected behavior, not the optimal user experience.
